Letter from engineer Giuseppe Bacciagaluppi to Enzo Ferrari, Bacciagaluppi informs Enzo Ferrari that at the end of the 1971 World Sports Car Championship season, the technical regulations in force up to that point, which allowed the use of sports cars with engines of up to 5 liters displacement by means of a special rule, will come to an end, meaning that the Ferrari 512S will no longer be used. Bacciagaluppi also informs Enzo Ferrari of the new technical regulations (valid until 1975), only 3-liter sports cars without minimum production are now permitted for the 1972 World Sports Car Championship season, whereupon he explains some minor changes. These new regulations forced Ferrari to build the Ferrari 312PB and helped it win the 1972 World Sports Car Championship title.
