historical valuable mixed lot master workman Eugen Huttenlocher, master workman of the repair shop at the Mercedes-Auto-Palast GmbH in Vienna, Huttenlocher was from 1897 till 1904 working at the Daimler-Motorengesellschaft in Cannstatt, after it from 1904 till 1907 in Vienna, next from 1907 till 1909 in Munich at the Mercedes-agency and from 1909 till 1913 in the Mercedes-Auto-Palast in Vienna, all special carriages of the Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft that should delivered were entrusted to Huttenlocher, like the first Mercedes that was delivered to Russia to the baron von Meck in Kiev, and also the cars that were reserved for Mr. Emil Jellinek (Mercedes) and the Parisian baron Rothschild, at all big races was Huttenlocher the manager and mechanic, the lot with contains among other things an original cabinet photo: Gottlieb Daimler at the steering wheel of a Daimler coach with engine, c. 1897, with Mr. Huttenlocher beside the car, the steering system of this car was entrusted to him, 10.5 x 16.5 cm, with original portrait Eugen Huttenlocher, 8 x 5cm, both photos were identical published in "Allgemeine Automobil-Zeitung", Vienna May 22nd 1921, page 14, specimen copy is enclosed, with several school reports, all in all 11 pieces, all handwritten, among it a reference by Mr. Emil Jellinek from December 23rd 1900 "Herr Eugen Huttenlocher war für Prüfung der Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft in Cannstatt während 9 Wochen bei mir in Nizza" autographed Emil Jellinek, in 1900 Jellinek was placing a bulk order of all in all 72 vehicles by the Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and as a result he became a member of the supervisory board. from then on for Jellinek promoted the firstname of his daughter as product name "Mercedes", on June 23rd 1902 the name Mercedes as product name became a trademark and registered on September 26th 1902 , also a reference of the text from the "Allgemeine Automobil-Zeitung"mentioned Russian baron von Meck, autographed handwritten on August 16th 1899 "Monteur Huttenlocher ist bei mir in Russland vom 26. Juni bis zum 28. August zum Einfahren meines Motor-Wagens gewesen…..", autographed, with 1 reference from that London Motor Carriage Supply Company Ltd. from April 19th 1900 (the company of Motor Carriage Supply Company Ltd. was responsible for the distribution of the Daimler cars in England ), reference dated December 18th 1901, autographed Francesco Seib, the here already mentioned brand name Mercedes "Mercedes 35 HP, Baron Alberto Franchetti", reference of a Jacob Bertschinger, Zurich, October 17th 1898 regarding Victoria car, journey from Cannstatt to Zurich, reference Paris, April 27th 1901 Henry Simons regarding running in of a Mercedes car, reference from January 17th 1901 by a Mr. Hartmann from Munster, reference Milan, May 2nd 1902, running in of a Mercedes 35 HP-car, with a reference from 1901, autographed Bary, with further school reports and certificates by Mr. Huttenlocher beginning 1899, and 3 original B/W photos, conveyance of Mr. Huttenlocher Daimler Phönix, probably car for Emil Jellinek, each 9 x 12 cm, with 4 further portraits, cabinet photos, Eugen Huttenlocher and family, and 1 photo probably Daimler factory around 1900, with obituaries, obituaries, newspaper cutting, etc., museum quality, historically extremely interesting
