No. 589 FERRARI
Formula 1 World Championship 2007, original racing overall by Kimi Räikkönen, from the penultimate race of the season at the 2007 Shanghai Grand Prix, before the race Lewis Hamilton was leading the drivers' championship with 12 points ahead of Fernando Alonso and 17 points ahead of Kimi Räikkönen, all three had a chance of winning the world championship title, during the Shanghai race Hamilton was called into the pits by the team on lap 31, but slipped when entering the pits, track marshals were unable to get him back on the track and so he had to retire from the race. Räikkönen ultimately took victory in his Ferrari F2007, ahead of Fernando Alonso in a McLaren MP4-22 and Felipe Massa in a Ferrari F2007. He thus kept the world championship open for the final race at the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paolo. Räkkönen won the race in Brazil ahead of his team-mate Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso and secured the driving world championship with a one-point lead over Hamilton. An almost impossible task to overturn a 17-point deficit in two races and win the last Drivers' World Championship for Ferrari to date.
