Ferrari 375 Indianapolis (#04), bundle of 8 items (factory copies 70s) including 12.01.1955, letter from Enzo Ferrari to Howard Keck (Super Oil Company Racing Team) regarding participation in the Indianapolis 500, Enzo Ferrari describes the development of a 6-cylinder engine with 4,400ccm and 340-380hp, derived from the successful Tipo 375F1. Ferrari explains its ideas on technical cooperation - either Keck supplying a chassis prepared for Indianapolis or shipping the new engine and Ferrari technicians to the USA. Enclosed 5 pages of works sheets, parts lists and technical instructions (Italian) with details of bore, compression, spark plugs, Weber carburetors, lubricants, fuel mixture, as well as detailed operating and maintenance instructions for racing mechanics. The parts lists also include specific components of the F1/375 Double Ignition Type, including valves, connecting rods, gear wheels and special tools.
